I made homemade Peppero (or Pocky) on the 4th of July, so I gave them a patriotic theme. But today would have been more perfect to make them because not only is it Veteran's Day, it's Peppero day too. If you don't know about Peppero day...it's every year on 11/11 because the 1's look like sticks, just like Peppero...if that makes sense.
