Easy Homemade Four (or Five) Course Meal

This was basically the hubby's Valentine's gift:
food.
I wanted to have fun trying to make it look fancy but I wasn't gonna try anything way out of our price range or way too complicated.
Here is my easy peasy "fancy" full course meal:

To start I made baguettes and an herb-infused olive oil sauce (a la Carrabba's)
1. Tomato Stacks: roma tomatoes, basil and mozzarella drizzled with reduced balsamic vinegar
2. Shrimp Pesto: pesto cream sauce with shrimp and grape tomatoes over thin spaghetti
3. Steak over cheddar potatoes au gratin topped with asparagus (the sauce is just A1 ;))
4. Pierre Herme's Hazelnut tart. He uses bittersweet but the hubs doesn't like that so I used Ghiradelli milk chocolate chips.

And along with this we drank Welch's sparkling grape juice in wine glasses lol. It was a good time.
This was so easy and so yummy.

The Carrabba's sauce. The hubs likes it pastier (w/o so much olive oil)
